Light, wonderful cookies.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup ( or 220g ) white sugar
- 1 cup ( or 225g ) butter
- 2 eggs
- 3 1 / 2 cups ( or 440g ) sifted all – purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons ( or 9g ) baking powder
- 2 teaspoons ( or 10ml ) vanilla extract
Directions:
- Melt the butter or margarine over low heat.
- Mix together the sugar, butter and the eggs. Beat well. Sift in the flour and the baking powder. Mix in the vanilla. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown at 375 degrees F ( 190 degrees C ).
