Lovely little cookies that are perfect for formal parties.
Servings: 24
Ingredients:
- 1 cup ( or 225g ) butter
- 1 / 2 cup ( or 60g ) confectioners’ sugar
- 2 1 / 4 cups ( or 280g ) all – purpose flour
- 3 / 4 cup ( or 90g ) chopped walnuts
- 1 / 4 teaspoon ( or 2g ) salt
- 1 teaspoon ( or 5ml ) vanilla extract
- 1 / 3 cup ( or 40g ) confectioners’ sugar for decoration
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients, mix well.
- Refrigerate dough until chilled.
- Roll dough into 1 inch balls and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 350 degree F ( 175 degrees C ) oven.
- Once baked, roll while still hot in confectioners’ sugar until coated. Let cool. Lightly dust with more confectioners’ sugar.
